We asked our readers to send in there most creative cocktail recipes using Thunder Toffee Vodka as the main ingredient. Here are our three winning recipes!
In August 2011 Thunder Toffee Vodka rolled out across South Africa as the craze sweeping Europe touched down in SA. Notoriously popular amongst the colourful skiing fraternity, toffee flavoured vodka mixes have been rife in their experimentation in the bars of the French Alps for decades, but it is not until now that a recipe has been developed that delivers both silky smooth flavour and balance.
Our three top recipes not only incorporate the style, elegance and quality that Thunder Toffee Vodka stands for, but also sound absolutely delicious.

Janine van Zyl - Creamy Thunder Wonder
Ingredients:
- 30ml Thunder Toffee Vodka
- 30ml Cream
- 30ml 70% Dark chocolate, melted
- 30ml Amarula
- 30ml Nachtmuzik
- 1 Scoop Madagascan Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
- Chantilly Cream and pieces of fudge to garnish
Method:
Blitz all the ingredients in a blender until fully combined. Serve chilled in a cocktail glass topped with chantilly cream and pieces of fudge.
Candace Holmes - Milky Shake
- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 350ml Thunder Toffee Vodka
- 500 ml fresh cream
Method:
Throw all the ingredients into a shaker, shake it all up and enjoy!
Annette Naude - Thunder Rush
- 1 cup cold espresso
- 2 tots Thunder Toffee Vodka
- 1 tot cream
Method:
Blend up a cold cup of espresso, add the 2 tots of Thunder Toffee Vodka and layer the top with cream. If you want it sweeter (and stronger) increase the Thunder Toffee Vodka!
