Freeze fresh berries

Ripe berries can be frozen for up to a year, but this will slightly alter their flavour and texture. Place them in a single layer on a baking tray, then freeze. Once frozen, transfer them to an airtight bag or container.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 x 175 ml vanilla frozen yoghurt
1 x 175 ml Cape Fruits frozen yoghurt
1 x 175 ml English Toffee frozen yoghurt
125 g blackberries
1 x 250 ml packet palmiers
Cooking instructions:

Use a mould and place blackberries at the bottom of the container.

Layer the different frozen yoghurts over the fruit and freeze.

To serve, run the container under warm water or place a warm cloth over the bottom and unmould onto platter.

Serve with palmiers on the side.
