Asian-inspired meals are mostly really quick to put together and if you watch the oil and soya, super healthy too. Here are six quick and easy meals for any day of the week.
• Grind a mix of toasted Sichuan (Szechwan) and black peppercorns, sea salt and crushed dried red chillies. Rub on chicken breasts before placing under the grill or over coals.
Dress with a mix of soy sauce, lime juice and sugar.
• Glaze salmon fillets with 60ml (4T) hoisin sauce, 5ml (1t) chilli powder and 5ml (1t) honey.

Grill or place over coals before serving with sliced red onion, coriander and Greek yoghurt.
• Stir-fry cold, cooked white rice with spinach and garlic, then top with spring onion, coriander and a fried egg.
Serve with hot chilli sauce.
• Stuff ready-made dim-sum sheets with shredded duck and enoki mushrooms. Seal the edges and steam.
Serve with soy, ginger and fresh chilli sauce.
• Marinate chicken strips in oyster, ginger and garlic sauce. Stir-fry in a hot wok and serve with crisp tempura Asian vegetables and fluffy rice.
• Toss udon noodles in soy sauce with fresh ginger, sesame seeds, garlic and lots of fresh chilli. Serve with wok-fried green pepper and bok choy, and Sichuan (Szechwan)-pepper-crusted chicken.
