Create a quick platter of nibbles

Calm the nerves during the game with a quick and easy plate of nibbles. Simply pop in at Woolies, stock up and lay it all out at home.

SAVOURY

  • Veg sticks with low-fat cream cheese, sprinkled with seeds
  • Assorted steamed baby vegetables dressed with lemon oil
  • Wedges of warm pitta bread with hummus
     
  • A plate of salami and sweet peppers
     
  • Feta and olives
     
  • Baby mozzarella balls scattered over slices of fresh tomato and warm flatbreads
     
  • Melba toasts spread with smoked angelfish, snoek or trout pate served with shelled pistachios and torn figs
     
  • Warmed crumbed prawns with spicy dip, new taramasalata and lime wedges

SWEETSsweet nibbles

  • Quince preserve with a crumbly mature cheese, a few roasted nuts and a handful of biscuits.
     
  • Sliced papino sprinkled with crushed red chilli
     
  • Cinnamon-spiked apples baked in apple juice
     
  • Banana chunks with honeyed Greek yoghurt
     
  • Perfectly ripe pears with a chunk of Parmesan
