Set in a converted barn on the picturesque De Meye Wine Estate, The Table is the newest addition to Stellenbosch’s burgeoning restaurant route.
Classically trained chef Camilla Comins and food photographer Russel Wasserfall head the establishment and have created a menu that stars hearty, seasonal fare made with farm-fresh produce.

Food is brought on platters to rustic tables set with real silverware, where guests can help themselves to the likes of roast beef sirloin with horseradish cream or crispy roast pork belly with home-made chutney, as well as sumptuous salads, Hasselback potatoes and braised red cabbage.
Open for Saturday and Sunday lunch only, the diminutive eatery is kitted out in quirky, farmstead-chic décor that tickles the senses: think rows of preserves, worn silverware, cross-stitched linens and a miscellany of mismatched crockery.
Exactly the sort of vibe you crave from a satisfying weekend feast.
