We had a record number of entries, but there could always only be one winner in the Woolworths TASTE home-made soup competition...
In April this year we called for entries in the Woolworths TASTE great home-made soup recipe competition.
We had scores of entries, from all over the country, and Woolworths' food gurus have taken their time to carefully go through each and every entry to find that one soup recipe that stood out from the others.
AND THE WINNER IS...
Huge congratulations to Allan Haschick from Port Elizabeth whose delicious Bean and Boerewors soup was finally chosen as the winning recipe.
Allan walks away with a whopping R50 000 Woolworths gift card PLUS their recipe will be included in the Woolworths 2010 soup collection.
On behalf of Woolworths and TASTE magazine, we congratulate you whole-heartedly. We cannot wait to see your recipe in the Woolworths soup range.

And thanks to the Woolworths foodies who've done all the hard work testing and tasting the recipes.
