Ever dreamt of becoming a TV cook? Here's your chance! Pasella is looking for South Africa's best home cook, and the winner will not only star on television, but win a R20 000 Woolworths gift card.
Here is your chance to become a renowned foodie! Pasella, the popular Afrikaans television programme, is searching for South Africa’s top home cook.
All you need to do is to enter your original recipe on the pasella.com website and you could be SA’s newest television cook. Pasella is looking for real homecooking – no chef creations! Your recipe has to reflect your own, personal home-cooking style.
Every week Pasella judges will choose one lucky entrant to prepare his or her dish on Pasella. After 24 weeks viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite cook via SMS.

To watch the homecooks in action, tune in to Pasella on SABC2 every Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
The 12 contestants with the most votes will each win a R3 000 Woolworths gift card. Of the 12 finalists, viewers will once again have the chance to vote for the top six, who will compete, during a cooking competition on Pasella, for the big prize of a R20 000 Woolworths gift card. The winner will also have the opportunity to create six additional dishes on Pasella.

How to enter?
1. Enter you original recipe on Pasella.com’s viewer’s recipe page. Remember to register first so that they have your details should they want to contact you.
2. Attach one or two photographs of your dish, and one of yourself (they don’t have to be professional)
3. Add a short paragraph describing the dish, how you developed it, followed by your ingredients and method.
4. After submitting your recipe, Pasella wil contact you for more information regarding your food philosophy to enable them to make an informed decision.
