Bill Granger has been a contributor to TASTE magazine since 2006. Now he's teamed up with local boy Justin Bonello in the hunt for good food in South Africa.
WHO IS BILL GRANGER?
If you’re a regular reader of Woolworths TASTE magazine, you’ll be familiar with Bill Granger. What you may not know is that this internationally recognised restaurateur and food writer is a self-taught cook!
This Aussie foodie first started cooking professionally while at art school in Sydney, and opened his first, highly successful restaurant, bills, at the age of 22, in 1993.
Two more Sydney restaurants followed (in 1996 and 2004) and in March 2008 the first bills outside Australia opened in Japan. Bill launched his debut television series, bills food, on The LifeStyle Channel in Australia in 2004, and has been a regular on BBC Lifestyle, broadcast on DStv locally, too.
Bill has always been passionate about food and cooking. He takes pride in presenting delicious food that is simple, fresh and looks irresistible. This easygoing approach to food has been an important element of his enduring popularity in Australia and in South Africa.

From 2 June until 7 August we'll be following them as they traverse the country, and we'd love you to join them on their journey, learning, as they do, why Woolworths' food is good for you, and good for the planet.
