Make triple-cooked chips
Triple-cooked chips are the ultimate chips to go with burgers or ribs. Here's how to make them.
You'll need:
8 potatoes, peeled and cut into chips
2 cups sunflower oil
Sea salt, to taste
Place the potatoes into a saucepan of cold salted water, bring to the boil, simmer for 5 minutes, drain, then dry well using a clean tea towel.
Heat the oil in a saucepan and add the potatoes. Fry until slightly golden, remove from the oil and set aside.
Keep the oil hot.
Fry the chips once more in the hot oil for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Sprinkle with salt and serve.
