Buffalo mozzarella

This authentic mozzarella is made from the milk of water buffalo in central Italy.

It is softer, less rubbery and has a stronger flavour than cow’s milk mozzarella.

Its subtle flavour makes it perfect to be torn up in fresh salads and it melts superbly in the oven and is often used in traditional Italian margarita pizzas.

Try it in bubble bread with peaches and buffalo mozzarella or in buffalo mozzarella, fig and prune pizza with purple basil and caper berries.
