Comte AOC cheese
This is a firm, dry cheese from France. It is matured for a minimum of 4 months.
Comte AOC has a creamy texture and unique fruity tang and is easily recognised by its thin beige rind.
The making of Comte is strictly controlled and must be made with milk from two specific breeds of cow Montbeliarde and French Simmental.
Try it in instead of gruyere in our cauliflower and gruyere tart
